The Athlete Project
The Athlete Project was created by Accredited Sports Dietitians Natalie Geale and Zoe Ormrod, with goals to provide athletes the tools and knowledge to build positive relationships with their bodies and to establish healthy eating habits and behaviours.
Both Natalie and Zoe grew up in the gymnastics and dance world, competing at the highest levels and representing Australia on numerous occasions. To learn more, click on the links for the full biography of Natalie and Zoe.
Group Nutrition Education
Sessions and Workshops
Nat or Zoe will present a nutrition education session either at your club or via Zoom on request. We offer a 2-part nutrition education session which will go for 1-hour each.
Part A – Sports Nutrition Basics: Fuelling, Recovery and Hydration
Part B – Body Image
On request, additional topics can be presented including REDs, nutrition for female athletes, competition day nutrition, nutrition whilst travelling as well as sessions specifically for coaches or parents.
As part of the session, you will also gain access to a variety of educational materials which can be email to parents and gymnasts as well as displayed at your club. Topics Include (but are not limited to): Fuelling, recovery, hydration, eating during training, building a positive body image.

For tailored advice come and see us for an individual performance plan. Nat and Zoe work across Brisbane (north and south side locations) and the Gold Coast for face-to-face appointments but can also see clients via Telehealth.
