Easter entertaining recipes for the long weekend!

Chocolate Yoghurt Dip with Fruit Skewers (Serves 4)

200g good quality milk or dark chocolate Easter Eggs
100mL reduced fat thin cream
90g (1/3 cup) Greek-style low fat yoghurt

2 oranges
4 kiwifruit
Punnet of strawberries

  1. Break Easter Eggs into small pieces.  Place in a heatproof bowl with cream.
  2. Heat a saucepan half-filled with water to a simmer.  Place bowl with chocolate and cream over the saucepan ensuring the water doesn’t touch the bowl.
  3. Use a large metal spoon to gently stir until the chocolate melts and the mixture is smooth.  Remove the chocolate mixture from heat and set aside to cool slightly.  Add the yoghurt to the chocolate mixture and stir to combine.
  4. Thread the fruit onto skewers.  Serve the chocolate mixture in a bowl surrounded by fruit skewers.
